Indoor and damage documentation
After a fire or a flood the condition has to be recorded before anything is cleared away. Where entering is too dangerous, I fly a small drone inside without anyone crossing the threshold.
What you need it for
- Evidence the damage for the insurer before clearing starts
- Provide a basis for loss adjusters and restoration planning
- Capture areas at risk of collapse or full of smoke
- Reveal water damage in roof structures and intermediate ceilings
How it works
- The fire service must have released the building. Ideally nothing has been cleared yet.
- I fly room by room, slowly and systematically, with my own lighting.
- Alongside the overview I capture the decisive spots in detail: seat of the fire, smoke lines, burnt-through beams, swollen walls.
- From the overlapping footage a spatial model can also be computed.
What you receive
- Complete photo and video documentation, ordered by room
- Close-ups of the damaged areas, located within the building
- On request a walkable 3D model of the interior
- On request an inspection report as a PDF with findings and photos
Good to know
- These jobs are usually urgent. Get in touch and I will fit them in.
- The earlier it is recorded, the less argument there is later about what was already there.
- Narrow stairwells and heavy dust limit the flight. We decide together on site what is feasible.
Service area: around Oldenburg, Lower Saxony, and across northern Germany on request.
